Several of our projects were funded by NSF’s Advanced Technological Education office to improve technician education, often starting in high school and bridging to community college. The New York State Curriculum for Advanced Technological Education (NYSCATE) project and the Articulated Technological Education Pathways (ATEP) project were the two most focused on technician education. Both provide open source curriculum, which reflects the complexity and sophistication of the technical work environment.
